'Mankind redefined' is a frequently used as a motto within the Institute. I talked to Shaun, and will be working to get the Institute's reactor online. I need to talk to Shaun about the Institute's reactor, and about his illness. The Institute's Directorate is meeting and Shaun has asked me that I be there. Speaking with Father afterwards, he will state that it will take time for the scientists to accept that they will become the new director, but will give assurances that they will be the future of the Institute, and his legacy.Arriving at the meeting room, Father will make it public knowledge that he is dying from cancer, and that he will be appointing the Sole Survivor as his successor upon death.Upon meeting Father again after meeting the division heads, he will request for his parent to attend the next Directorate meeting.
I go to the room where it starts, but it does not talk about the meeting or anything, just father telling me i need to wait for the meeting to finish before i can talk to anyone. I then had to Attend the Directorate Meeting, in which i cant actually do. With the Sole Survivor now having gotten familiar with the Institute's division heads, as well as Father himself, they will be requested to attend a meeting between members of the Directorate. I have gotten the Mankind Redefined quest from Father, and spoke to him to progress.
